2025年4月29日，中国勘察设计协会城市更新分会在在上海久事艺术沙龙 “UMBAU·改建，不间断转变”展览现场成功举办观摩和主题座谈会。本次活动以"持续的改建"为主题，汇聚了国内建筑领域的顶尖专家和学者，共同探讨城市更新的前沿理念与实践经验。

On April 29, the Urban Renewal Branch of the China Exploration & Design Association (CEDA) successfully hosted a viewing and specialized symposium at the "UMBAU. Nonstop Transformation" exhibition held at the Jiushi Art Salon in Shanghai. The event, themed "Continuous Transformation," brought together leading experts and scholars in the field of architecture to discuss cutting-edge concepts and practical experiences in urban renewal.

活动伊始，gmp合伙人兼执行总裁吴蔚为与会嘉宾详细讲解了展馆内14个改建项目的设计理念与创新实践。这些项目集中展示了gmp在建筑改造领域的技术实力与设计创新，获得了在场专家的一致好评。

At the beginning of the event, Mr. Wu Wei, Executive Partner of gmp Architects, provided the attending guests with a detailed explanation of the design concepts and innovative practices behind the 14 renovation projects featured in the exhibition. These projects showcased gmp's technical prowess and design innovation in architectural transformation, receiving high praise from the experts present.

与会专家结合实践案例，围绕城市区域活力复兴、地域建筑发展与传承、历史价值的保护与城市发展的需求、超大城市高密度发展的空间优化、⼯业遗存的复兴、城市微更新等方面展开观点，探讨存量发展时代，如何通过设计、政策和实践平衡保护与发展，实现城市的可持续更新与文化延续。

Combining practical case studies, the participating experts exchanged views on topics such as urban area revitalization, the development and inheritance of regional architecture, the protection of historical value and the needs of urban development, the spatial optimization of high-density development in megacities, the revitalization of industrial heritage, and urban micro-renewal. They discussed how to balance protection and development through design, policy, and practice in the era of stock development to achieve sustainable urban renewal and cultural continuity.

座谈会历时两小时，现场观点交锋热烈，为中国城市更新事业提供了新思路，也为展览带来一场高水平的学术活动。

The symposium lasted for two hours, with lively exchanges of ideas providing new perspectives for China's urban renewal endeavors and bringing a high-level academic event to the exhibition.
