由gmp·冯·格康,玛格及合伙人建筑师事务所设计的成都未来科技城福田TOD站城一体项目现已建成。gmp于2021年在成都未来科技城起步区城市设计及车站周边枢纽概念建筑方案的两轮竞赛中拔得头筹,并获得该项目建筑设计的委托。项目位于成都天府新区未来科技城起步区,以福田地铁站为起点,通过站城一体化的空间组织,整合交通枢纽、产业办公、商业休闲与酒店配套,打造集复合功能与开放公共空间于一体的城市核心区,并为未来科技城塑造出鲜明的门户形象。

The Chengdu Future Science and Technology City Lauch Area, designed by gmp von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects, has recently been completed. In 2021, gmp won first prize in both rounds of the competition for the urban design of the launch area of Chengdu Future Science and Technology City and the conceptual architectural scheme for the transport hub around the station, and was commissioned with the architectural design of the launch area. Located in the pilot zone of Chengdu Tianfu New Area’s Future Sci-Tech City, the project takes Futian Metro Station as its core. Through station-city integrated spatial organization, it integrates transportation hubs, industrial offices, commercial leisure facilities, and hotel amenities to construct an urban core that combines mixed functions and open public spaces, thereby forging a distinct gateway identity for the Future Sci-Tech City.

福田地铁站地处成都天府国际机场门户区域,距机场约2公里,仅一站可达,距成都主城区约50公里。依托这一显著的区位优势,成都未来科技城正加快形成科教、研发、智造三大板块联动发展的格局。福田TOD站城一体项目以TOD开发模式为基础,进一步强化交通枢纽与城市功能、创新资源之间的联结,成为未来科技城重要的形象载体。

Futian Metro Station is situated in the gateway area of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, approximately 2 kilometers from the airport (reachable in one stop) and 50 kilometers from Chengdu’s main urban area. Leveraging this prominent locational advantage, Chengdu Future Sci-Tech City is accelerating the formation of a coordinated development pattern across three key sectors: science and education, R&D, and intelligent manufacturing. Grounded in the TOD development model, the Project further strengthens the linkages between transportation hubs, urban functions, and innovation resources, emerging as a pivotal identity carrier for the Future Sci-Tech City.

项目总占地面积123,522平方米,总建筑面积281,103平方米。项目主要由花园办公、街区商业与精品酒店组成,共设置12栋办公建筑,1栋品牌酒店与16栋商业建筑,整体建筑高度控制在50米以下,以高层办公与多层办公商业组合的方式,形成尺度宜人、层次丰富的城市空间界面。

The project covers a total land area of 123,522 square meters with a gross floor area of 281,103 square meters. It comprises garden offices, street commerce, and boutique hotels, including 12 office buildings, 1 branded hotel, and 16 commercial buildings. The overall building height is restricted to below 50 meters; the combination of high-rise offices and multi-story office-commercial structures creates an urban spatial interface with human-scale proportions and rich hierarchical depth.

片区总体规划延续成都未来科技城以福田站TOD为起点的发展逻辑,回应片区“未来画轴”与“校园活力轴”两条城市轴线的空间框架。设计借由两条山水画轴串联科教、产业与人才资源,并以C形“超级绿谷”为生态骨架,结合缓丘地形构建交织的文化网络与生态网络。项目顺应这一总体结构,在交通、景观与功能组织之间建立起高效而连续的空间联系。

The overall planning of the district extends the development logic of Chengdu Future Sci-Tech City centered on Futian Station TOD, responding to the spatial framework defined by two urban axes: the “Future Scroll Axis” and the “Campus Vitality Axis.” The design connects science and education, industrial, and talent resources via two landscape scrolls, while taking the C-shaped “Super Green Valley” as the ecological backbone. Integrating with the gentle hilly terrain, it constructs interwoven cultural and ecological networks. Aligning with this overall structure, the project establishes efficient and continuous spatial connections between transportation, landscape, and functional organization.

起步区设计概念源于“扎根川蜀文化沃土,栽种未来科技之树”。项目借由绿轴与叠水景观形成多个公共活动节点,以多层次步行系统串联车站、商业、办公、酒店及开放空间,构建以慢行体验为核心的站城一体化空间网络。设计结合地形特征与景观界面关系,控制建筑体量与高度变化,塑造出层次分明、富有节奏的空间轮廓。

The design concept of the Lauch Area draws inspiration from “rooting in the fertile soil of Sichuan culture and nurturing the tree of future technology.” The project creates multiple public activity nodes through green axes and cascading water landscapes, and links the station, commerce, offices, hotels, and open spaces via a multi-level pedestrian system, constructing a station-city integrated spatial network centered on slow-traffic experiences. By responding to topographical features and landscape interface relationships, the design controls building volume and height variations, shaping a spatial silhouette with clear layers and rhythmic dynamism.

项目以“科技之树”的形象作为核心识别元素。最具特色的是由43把高达40米的“科技之树”共同构成的大尺度半室外空间系统。轻盈的结构构件在地面与屋面之间形成富有标志性的空间序列,不仅赋予建筑群以鲜明的整体形象,也将自然景观全方位引入公共空间和建筑内部。有自洁和遮阳功能的轻质PTFE半透膜覆盖结构骨架之上,这是对成都多雨的气候条件作出的积极回应,在遮阳避雨的同时营造出舒适宜人的微气候环境,强化了公共空间的全天候使用品质。

The project adopts the “Technology Tree” as its core identity element. Its most distinctive feature is a large-scale semi-outdoor spatial system composed of 43 40-meter-high “Technology Trees.” Lightweight structural components form an iconic spatial sequence between the ground and roof, not only endowing the building complex with a distinctive holistic identity but also introducing natural landscapes into public spaces and building interiors in a comprehensive manner. A lightweight PTFE semi-transparent membrane—with self-cleaning and sun-shading functions—covers the structural framework, actively responding to Chengdu’s rainy climate. This design provides sun and rain protection while creating a comfortable microclimate, enhancing the all-weather usability of public spaces.

新建成的福田TOD站城一体项目以站城融合为基础,将轨道交通基础设施、科创办公场景与开放商业界面整合为一个有机整体。通过将生态绿轴、公共慢行系统与复合功能空间深度融合,项目为未来科技城提供了一处高效、开放且富有识别度的城市中心,也为成都探索以TOD引领新区建设的城市发展模式提供了新的实践样本。

The newly completed Chengdu Future Science and Technology City Lauch Area, based on station-city fusion, integrates rail transit infrastructure, sci-tech innovation office scenarios, and open commercial interfaces into an organic whole. Through the deep integration of ecological green axes, public slow-traffic systems, and mixed-function spaces, the project provides an efficient, open, and highly identifiable urban center for the Future Sci-Tech City. It also serves as a new practical model for Chengdu to explore a TOD-led urban development paradigm for new district construction.
