位于徐汇区，毗邻桂林公园，上海商学院漕宝路校区（上海洛桑酒店管理学院）于2024年正式迎来了学生入驻和校区启用。细心焕新的建筑风貌，舒适有质的功能提升，绿色生态的校园环境，为上海高校校园改造和建设提供范式，也在上海城市更新的语境下奏响又一篇章。

Located in Xuhui District and adjacent to Guilin Park, the Shanghai Business School Caobao Road Campus (College of Shanghai Lausanne Hospitality Management, SLH) officially welcomed students in 2024. This campus combines carefully preserved historic features, a lush ecological environment, revitalized architectural image, and comfortable, high-quality spaces—setting a benchmark for university campus renovation and development in Shanghai. It represents an inspiring chapter amid the city’s ongoing urban renewal efforts.

上海商学院漕宝路校区（上海洛桑酒店管理学院）是经中国教育部批准的全日制本科中外合作办学机构，为瑞士洛桑酒店管理学院学术认证体系准成员院校。在上海市政府和市教委的关心支持下，学校围绕国内一流、世界知名的产教融合型酒店管理学院的建设目标，按照“智慧、生态、开放、共享”的建设理念，以高起点、高标准打造全新产教融合型酒店管理学院。

SLH is a Sino-foreign cooperative higher education institution approved by China’s Ministry of Education, offering full-time undergraduate programs. It is also an associate member of the academic accreditation system of the EHL Hospitality Business School in Switzerland. With strong support and attention from Shanghai Municipal Government and the Municipal Education Commission, SLH aims to evolve into a first-class, internationally recognized hospitality management institution that integrates industry and academia, guided by the principles of “intelligence, ecology, openness, and sharing.”

gmp在2021年国际方案竞赛中获得第一名，之后陆续开展了从校区规划到分期建设的建筑方案设计工作，目前校区已完成一期修缮工程，后续改扩建分期也在推进。

gmp won the competition in 2021, then joined in urban planning to architecture design by phases. Now phase 1 of renovation was finished and about to start the next phase.

一期修缮工程位于漕宝路沿线，主要包含4栋修缮建筑。

The campus development is planned in phases. The first phase of renovation along Caobao Road has been completed, comprising four renovated buildings.

风貌延续，修旧焕新

Preserving the Old, Revitalizing the New

基地原为上海冶金机械学校，始建于20世纪50年代，后归属为上海应用技术大学。从城建档案中可以看到其浓郁的苏式社会主义风格规划，讲求对称性、仪式感，其中年代最为久远的1号楼和3号楼更浓缩了以上特点。

The site, once home to the Shanghai Metallurgical Machinery School established in the 1950s and later part of Shanghai Institute of Technology, carries a rich legacy of Soviet-inspired socialist architecture. The buildings, particularly Building 1 and Building 3, embody a strong sense of symmetry and ceremonial presence, central to the architectural language of the era.

1号楼始建于1955年，砖混结构，原为教学功能，外立面对称布局，是校园第一形象，也与入口广场共同形成强烈的仪式感。整体立面保存良好，基本维持着初建时的特征，我们秉承充分尊重原始风貌的设计理念，结合历史图纸和现场情况，对整体外观进行了修缮。

Building 1, constructed in 1955 with a brick-and-concrete structure, was originally designed for educational purposes. Its symmetrical façade forms the first impression of the campus and creates a solemn sense of ceremony in conjunction with the entrance square. The façade is well-preserved, with its original character substantially maintained. Respecting the original features and informed by historical drawings and site conditions, we carried out a comprehensive renovation of the building's exterior.

立面上颇具特色的竖向装饰条以及水平檐口展现了解放初期苏联风格对国内教学建筑的影响，严谨对称而富有韵律感。

Notable facade features, like the vertical decorative strips and horizontal eaves, reflect the Soviet architectural influence on early post-liberation educational buildings in China, marked by rigorous symmetry and rhythmic proportions.

一层室内留存着完整的水磨石地面，历经岁月品质依旧，其间的“多芒星”系列图案格外精致，通过完整保留的设计思路，小心呵护的过程，美丽“星光”得以重新绽放。

Inside, the terrazzo flooring on the ground floor retains its original quality, featuring a particularly exquisite "multi-pointed star" pattern. This timeless design, reminiscent of starlight, is brought to life anew through meticulous restoration.

拾级而上，踏过温润迂回的楼梯及扶手，穿越独特而别致的木门，在房间内能看到外立面上网格状的木窗上中下均分为三格，既有比例尺度的考量，又提供了均可开启的功能便利性。这些点滴元素都散发着那个时代的设计审美余香，历史韵味浓郁。

The experience continues as one ascends the gracefully winding stairs with warm handrails and passes through distinctive wooden doors. From within, the grid-like wooden windows on the façade—divided into three balanced sections—come into view. This thoughtful design ensures harmonious proportions and operational ease. Together, these elements embody the aesthetic sensibilities and historical charm of the era.

3号楼同样始建于1955年，但建筑状况较1号相差巨大，后期大量的改建、扩建使得原有建筑形象接近消失殆尽，我们在充分查阅历史档案后，剖丝抽茧地一点点重现建筑原有风貌。

Also built in 1955, Building 3 differs markedly from Building 1. Due to extensive renovations and expansions over the years, its original architectural character had nearly disappeared. Through careful archival research, we meticulously restored its original appearance piece by piece.

主入口的门楣、台阶、雨棚下的挂饰，首层的墙裙，侧立面的顶部花窗、阶梯状扶手栏板，侧入口的圆弧状侧门，这些均在老图纸的基础上得到一一复现。

Based on the original drawings, we recreated key architectural elements including the lintel, steps, and hanging awning decorations at the main entrance, the dado on the ground floor, the top lattice windows and stepped handrail balustrade on the side façade, and the curved side door at the side entrance.

设计之初，3号楼二楼屋顶残存着破败的木桁架和气窗，激起了我们的感慨，这里留下了传统坡顶建筑的时代性和那个年代木工艺的朴实温润，值得设计的尊重和复原，为校园延续记忆。

The decayed wooden trusses and transom windows on the second floor evoke the era of traditional sloped roof architecture. Our design honors the simple, warm wooden craftsmanship of that period, preserving its nostalgic charm on campus.

原有的木结构混合了木质斜腹杆和钢索直拉杆，形式有趣但受力复杂。在复原焕新的思路下，通过结构顾问的梳理，去除了桁架间的冗余木斜撑，保留了桁架主要木斜撑和竖向钢拉索，并优化节点交接，焕发其结构之美。

The original wooden structure, featuring a combination of wooden diagonal webs and steel cable tie rods, was visually intriguing but structurally complex. With the assistance of the structural consultant, we removed redundant wooden diagonal bracing between the trusses, while retaining the essential diagonal supports and vertical steel tension cables. By optimizing the node connections, we were able to showcase the inherent elegance of the structure.

4号楼是1981年，为拓展3号楼食堂功能贴临所建，建筑风貌有一定包豪斯风格，框架结构提供更宽大自由的内部空间。在结合图纸复原原貌的同时，设计在功能上植入了多种学生公共空间，如图书馆、自习室、会议室等。

Built in 1981 next to Building 3 to expand the cafeteria function, Building 4 featured a Bauhaus-inspired architectural style, with its frame structure enabling more open and flexible interior spaces. While we restored the building’s original form based on historical drawings, we also reimagined its functionality, incorporating a variety of student spaces such as a library, study rooms, and conference areas.

保留绿色，生态校园

Preserving a Green and Ecological Campus

郁郁葱葱、绿色环绕是校园宝贵的岁月赠予，1号楼南侧矗立着高大的水杉树阵，和楼栋形成丰富的前后层次，南广场中央的球形广玉兰已年近70载，高大巍峨，3-4号楼北侧的林荫大道和特色乔木，无不记录着老校园的人来人往。

The lush landscape is a precious gift of time to the campus. On the south side of Building 1, a stand of towering dawn redwoods creates a layered interplay with the architecture. At the heart of the South Square, a nearly 70-year-old magnolia rises with quiet majesty. Tree-lined roads and signature trees north of Buildings 3 and 4 silently witness generations of campus life.

我们通过“应保尽保，就地移植”的景观保护方案，在提升校园环境的同时，保留住了大部分乔木，延续校园宝贵的场所记忆和可持续精神。

Guided by the principle of "preserve where possible, transplant on site", we retained most of the trees while enhancing the campus environment, thus preserving the cherished living memory and the enduring spirit of sustainability.

每逢金秋时节，校园主入口和 1 号楼在这一抹金黄的映衬下，格外灿烂怡人。

In autumn, the campus entrance and Building 1 are illuminated by the golden glow of the dawn redwoods, their beauty heightened by the vibrant hues of the trees.

“满园青草绿，不减旧时姿”，通过最大限度保留现有绿化特征，并采用“干净草坪、高大乔木、整齐树阵”的方式，校园景观改造正如上海洛桑酒店管理学院办学理念，整体体现了高大而宽广和小巧而精致兼备的中西结合风格。

"The campus remains lush and verdant, forfeiting not a shred of its allure." By preserving existing greening features and incorporating clean lawns, tall trees, and orderly tree arrangements, the campus landscape renovation perfectly embodies SLH’s educational philosophy, combining grandeur with delicacy and seamlessly blending Eastern and Western aesthetic principles.

教育地标，崭新风貌

A Renewed Educational Landmark

校园内11号楼是沿漕宝路的制高点，我们根据框架剪力墙结构特性，拆除部分冗余的外装饰线条和挑板，提取原建筑优秀的风貌价值点，以折板状的当代建筑语言结合空调外机的布置，形成具有立体感、标志性的立面造型。

Building 11 dominates the skyline along Caobao Road. Based on the structural features of frame-shear walls, we removed superfluous decorative lines and cantilevered elements, and leveraged the building’s inherent geometric strength. The result is a sculptural, iconic facade that harmoniously combines modern architectural language, featuring folded plate forms, with the functional layout of outdoor air-conditioning units.

色彩植入暖色材料，鲜明的白色与木色搭配，结合山墙面校园logo的呈现，向城市展现校区新形象。

The new design adopts a warm material palette, combining crisp white and wood tones. The campus logo, set into the gable wall, signals a bold new identity to the city.

如今上海商学院漕宝路校区（上海洛桑酒店管理学院）即将迎来了第三批新生，一期的四栋“老”建筑重新焕发了“新”活力，提供了师生“新”体验，持续服务校园发展。

Today, as the Caobao Road Campus (SLH) prepares to welcome its third cohort of students, the four historic buildings in Phase I have been revitalized—creating vibrant spaces that promise fresh experiences and ongoing services.

为适应学院发展，校园北区还待进一步改扩建，gmp将继续与上海商学院保持密切合作，着力将漕宝路校区建设成特色鲜明的全新示范性酒店校园、生态校园、智慧校园和开放校园，助力上海洛桑酒店管理学院成为应用技术型大学国际合作的标杆和典范，也为上海高校校园改造和校区建设作出有益探索和实践。

Looking ahead, the northern campus will undergo further renovation and expansion to meet the evolving needs of SLH. gmp will continue collaborating closely with Shanghai Business School to develop a distinctive demonstration campus—green, smart, open, and aligned with the hospitality industry. Together, we aim to establish SLH as a benchmark for international collaboration in applied technology universities and as a model for campus renewal and development across the city.
