在苏州这座古典与现代交织的城市里，一边是园林深处的曲径通幽，一边是高楼林立的都会繁华。《姑苏繁华图》的盛景仿佛穿越时空，在如今的苏州万象天地再度重现。而在这里，一处专为青年打造的全新地标——由HPP设计的苏州青年中心现已焕新亮相。

In Suzhou, a city where classical heritage meets modern urban life, winding garden paths coexist with a dense metropolitan skyline. The vibrant scenes once depicted in Prosperity of Suzhou seem to reappear in today’s MixC complex. Here, a new landmark dedicated to young people—the Suzhou Youth Centre designed by HPP—has now been unveiled.

项目以 “破晓而生 · 万象青年” 为核心设计理念，旨在打破传统党群空间的固有范式，构建一个不仅服务于功能，更能激发灵感、促进交流的复合型青年社群阵地。它不仅是活动的场所，更是思想碰撞、创意孵化与梦想起航的“青年聚场”。

Guided by the concept “Born at Dawn · Youth in All Forms”, the project reinterprets the conventional model of civic and community spaces. It creates a hybrid platform that not only accommodates diverse functions but also stimulates creativity and social interaction. More than a venue for activities, the centre acts as a hub for dialogue, idea exchange and creative incubation.

如何与青春对话？设计团队的答案是：摒弃传统的严肃与刻板，以“自然”与“松弛”作为回应。活力不再流于表面的喧闹，而是通过流畅的动线、充沛的自然光和富有亲和力的材质，化作一种宁静而有力的内在气质。让走进这里的年轻人，都能在繁华万象中寻得一片静谧。

How can architecture engage in dialogue with youth? The design responds by moving away from formality and rigidity, embracing nature and a sense of ease instead. Vitality is not expressed through visual exuberance, but through fluid circulation, generous daylight, and tactile, approachable materials—forming a calm yet confident spatial character. Within the vibrant MixC setting, the space offers young people a place of quiet retreat.

入口设计以一条贯穿式的展示长廊作为空间的引导序厅。长廊两侧，青年的文化主张与创意成果在此陈列，将传统的“路过”转化为“驻足”，让每一次抵达都变成一场与灵感的邂逅。

The entrance is conceived as a linear exhibition corridor that guides visitors into the space. Displays of youth culture and creative work line both sides, transforming a simple passage into a place to pause—turning each arrival into a moment of encounter with new ideas.

空间以开放的公共区域作为整座“青年之家”的客厅，咖啡的香气与灵活的休闲座席交织其间，让交流与停留变得自然而然。相邻的多功能厅如同一方可变的生活剧场，通过座椅的自由组合，从容切换于讲座、分享会、脱口秀、音乐会与其他社群活动之间。而会议室与学习室，则为需要专注的青年提供了一方静谧的书房。

An open public area serves as the living room of the “Youth Hub”, where the aroma of coffee and flexible lounge seating create a natural setting for exchange and stay. Adjacent to it, a multifunctional hall operates like a transformable social stage, where freely arranged seating allows smooth transitions between lectures, talks, stand-up shows, concerts, and other community events. Meeting rooms and study rooms, meanwhile, provide quiet, focused spaces for young users.

作为扎根苏州的项目，该青年中心深度挖掘地域文化基因。设计将苏州独特的园林意境、水系元素及传统工艺进行现代转译，巧妙地融入空间细节之中。

Rooted in its Suzhou context, the project draws from local cultural traditions. Elements of classical gardens, water landscapes and traditional craftsmanship are reinterpreted through a contemporary design language and integrated into the interior details.

同时，这种对自然的向往并未止步于室内——沿立面展开的露台将公共空间向外延伸，在繁华的万象天地中开辟出一方半空中的庭院。既延续了室内的松弛感，又为青年的交流与休憩引入了远眺的视野。

This connection to nature continues beyond the interior. Terraces along the façade extend the public space outward, forming an elevated courtyard within the vibrant MixC complex. The design maintains the relaxed interior atmosphere while offering open views for social interaction and pause.

项目无论是透过窗棂瞥见的一隅微缩景观，还是材质上对苏式底蕴的抽象呼应，都让现代空间平添了几分姑苏特有的人文记忆点。不仅强化了空间的识别性，更让全球优秀青年在交流共创的同时，能触摸到这座城市的文脉与温度。

Framed views reminiscent of garden scenes and abstract references to local materials introduce subtle layers of Suzhou’s cultural memory into the modern interior. These gestures strengthen the spatial identity while allowing young visitors to connect with the city’s heritage.
