2023首届杨浦国际设计节于9月28号盛大开幕，HPP合伙人Jens Kump受聘杨浦创意设计产业国际咨询会议首批专家智库，HPP合伙人余炜受邀出席城市设计打造活力新空间主题对话，与会嘉宾们围绕杨浦 “设计之都” 核心功能区打造建言献策。

此次设计节由同济大学、杨浦区人民政府联合举办，以“设计赋动能，创新再出发”为主题，汇聚国内外杰出设计精英，展现当今世界最优秀的设计作品，传递各行各业的设计新声，设计节活动将持续至10月11日。

2023 Yangpu International Design Festival celebrated its opening on September 28th. Jens Kump, partner of HPP, has been appointed to be the expert of international Advisory council of Yangpu Creative Design Industry. Mr. Yu Wei, partner of HPP, was invited to panel discussion focused on "Urban Design Creating Vibrant New Spaces." During this session, attendees collaborated on strategies and suggestions for establishing Yangpu as a pivotal "City of Design" hub.

The design festival, a joint endeavor by Tongji University and the Yangpu District People's Government, is themed "Design Empowers, Innovation Embarks." It convenes renowned design professionals from both domestic and global backgrounds, exhibiting some of today's most distinguished design works while introducing fresh perspectives from across various sectors. It will last until October 11th.

2023世界设计之都大会主题论坛——“设计无界·共创新生”国际建筑设计高峰论坛于9月27日在上海成功举办，HPP合伙人余炜先生受邀出席“城市更新共创伙伴”成立仪式，HPP深圳办公室总监Job Peter Upmeijer先生受邀出席主题讨论环节，分享了HPP在优化城市公共服务、点亮民众美好生活方面的国际设计经验和观点。

2023世界设计之都大会（WDCC2023）由上海市人民政府主办，从9月26日持续至10月2日，旨在构建全球设计合作与交流平台，探索设计引领高质量发展之路，推动城市和生活处处充满设计。本次国际建筑设计论坛作为主会场活动之一，华东建筑集团股份有限公司主办，华建集团上海建筑设计研究院有限公司承办。论坛邀请了众多国内外专家学者，围绕城市更新、绿色低碳、数字化等方面，交流建筑设计在城市发展建设宏大图景下的探索与实践。

The 2023 World Design Cities Conference's thematic forum titled "Boundless Design, Co-creating the New" was held in Shanghai on September 27th. Mr. Yu Wei, partner of HPP, was invited to the inaugural ceremony for the "Urban Renewal Co-creation Partners." Additionally, Mr. Job Peter Upmeijer, the director of HPP's Shenzhen office, joined the thematic discussion, where he shared HPP's international design insights related to enhancing urban public services and elevating residents' quality of life.

Hosted by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the World Design Cities Conference 2023 (WDCC) takes place from September 26th to October 2nd. Its objective is to establish a global platform for design collaboration and exchange. The event aspires to pave the way for design-driven high-quality developments, ensuring that design is intrinsic to both urban landscapes and daily life. As a highlighted event within the conference, the international architecture design forum is organized by the East China Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd and managed by the Shanghai Architectural Design & Research Institute. The forum invited a lot of domestic and international experts and scholars, engaging in discussions encompassing urban renewal, sustainable low-carbon approaches, and digitization, all while sharing architectural design practices and explorations.

北京国际设计周751国际设计节于9月27日开幕，在其核心论坛之一「橙色之路-城市之境」国际建筑论坛上，HPP联合合伙人甘远哲先生围绕建筑与创新主题发表演讲，并现场分享了杜塞尔多夫摇篮大楼的循环经济设计理念——Cradle to Cradle（摇篮到摇篮）。

第十三届751国际设计节以“传承与回归”（FUTURE PAST）为主题，汇聚享誉国际亦深耕在地的艺术家、设计师、建筑师、思想家和活动家，关注全球议题并提出引发时代思考之问。本次建筑论坛则围绕探索如何创造更有人文精神和生命力的人居环境，从各自专业、个人的日常等角度反思城市对我们的意义，以及将以什么样的方式、态度去回应一座对未来有益的城市。

The Beijing International Design Week and the 751 International Design Festival kicked off on September 27th. At one of its core forums, "The Orange Path - Urban Horizons," an international architecture forum, Mr. Gan Yuanzhe, associate partner at HPP, delivered a speech focused on architecture and innovation. He introduced the Düsseldorf Cradle Building's sustainable design approach, commonly referred to as "Cradle to Cradle."

The 13th 751 International Design Festival, themed "FUTURE PAST: Legacy and Return," gathers artists, designers, architects, thinkers, and activists who, while globally recognized, remain deeply connected to local communities. The festival's focus is to spotlight global challenges and raise new thinking about our era. This architectural forum specifically explored how to create living environments with more humanistic essence and vitality, reflecting on the significance of cities from professional and personal daily life perspectives, and attitudes with which we should respond to a city beneficial for the future.

由BEED Asia必达亚洲主办的VENTURE 2023高等教育及职业教育建设与发展论坛于9月23日在上海召开，HPP室内设计副总监左静女士受邀出席圆桌对话，围绕城市更新进程下，校园如何迭代升级的话题，与教育领域的专家们展开了多维度的讨论。

论坛以“职业教育新格局，迈向大学新时代”为主题，众多知名学校校长、重要教育集团及政府相关领导出席，探讨高等教育、职业教育领域面临的挑战和机遇，推动职业高等教育与普通高等教育协同创新，更好地推动高等教育、职业教育高质量发展。

Hosted by BEED Asia, the VENTURE 2023 forum focusing on higher education and vocational education construction and development convened in Shanghai on September 23rd. Ms. Zuo Jing, the Deputy Director of Interior Design at HPP, was invited for panel discussion. About the topic of campus upgrades in the context of urban renewal, she engaged in multifaceted discussions with experts in the education sector.

The forum was themed "New Paradigms in Vocational Education, Stepping into a New Era for Universities." It attracted the attendance of renowned school principals, major educational groups, and relevant government officials. They deliberated on the challenges and opportunities faced by higher education and vocational sectors, aiming to foster collaborative innovation between vocational higher education and general higher education. The goal is to further enhance the quality development in both higher and vocational education realms.
