第 一是行业接轨国际，通过UIA平台引入国际建筑标准，助力中国建筑行业规范化；第二是参与度的提升，中国建筑师在UIA担任领导职务，推动国际规则中体现中国理念；第三是技术合作与创新，参与UIA发起的可持续建筑、韧性城市等议题，推动绿色技术、低碳建筑等在国内落地。通过UIA的平台展示中国建筑文化，推动“文化自信”战略，助力“一带一路”项目合作。

Firstly, the industry is in line with the international standards, and the introduction of international architectural standards through the UIA platform has helped standardise China's architectural industry; secondly, enhancing engagement, as Chinese architects have taken up positions in the UIA to promote the reflection of Chinese concepts in the international rules; and thirdly, the technological co-operation and innovation, and participation in the issues of sustainable buildings and resilient cities initiated by the UIA.Thirdly, technical cooperation and innovation, participating in sustainable building, resilient city and other issues initiated by UIA, and promoting green technology and low-carbon building in China. UIA will showcase Chinese architectural culture, promote the strategy of "cultural self-confidence", and help the cooperation of "Belt and Road" projects.

1999年北京世界建筑师大会上时任大会科学委员会主席的清华大学建筑学院教授、 清华大学建筑设计研究院有限公司（以下简称清华设计院）顾问总建筑师吴良镛院士发表主旨报告《世纪之交的凝思：建筑学的未来》，并主持撰写《北京宪章》。此后， 时任清华大学建筑设计研究院院长的庄惟敏教授长期担任国际建筑师协会（UIA）理事、职业实践委员会（UIA PPC）联席主席；清华大学建筑学院院长、教授、清华设计院总建筑师张利大师当选国际建协 （UIA）副主席； 清华设计院董事长、总建筑师刘玉龙曾担任医疗健康委员会委员； 清华设计院副院长张维担任国际建协职业实践委员会 （UIA PPC）联席主席等 。

清华设计院亦积极参与历届UIA大会、中国馆展览及UIA论坛、论文投稿等活动，代表清华设计在国际发声。2023年，清华设计院被中国建筑学会遴选为2026年巴塞罗那世界建筑大会中国馆的总策展单位，清华设计院董事长、总建筑师刘玉龙将担任本次中国馆总策展人，院长、总建筑师任飞将担任执行总策展人，并为此次重要展览设立了工作专班策展委员会，统筹策划以确保展览的内容充实、形式创新，充分展示中国建筑领域的前沿成就与未来趋势。通过实地调研、国际协作及多轮筹备会议，着力构建国际化交流平台，系统呈现中国建筑前沿成果与发展趋势。

Academician Wu Liangyong, Professor at School of Architecture of Tsinghua University, Consulting Chief Architect of THAD,then Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the General Assembly, delivered a keynote report entitled "Thoughts at the Turn of the Century: The Future of Architecture",Academician Wu Lianyong presided over the writing of the Beijing Charter was adopted by the General Assembly.Since then, Professor Zhuang Weimin, then President of THAD, has long been serving as a member of the Board of Directors of UIA and co-Director of the UIA Professional Practices Committee; Master Zhang Li, Dean and Professor at School of Architecture, Tsinghua University and Chief Architect of THAD was elected as the Vice-chairman of UIA; Liu Yulong, Chairman and Chief Architect of THAD, once served as a member of Medical and Health Committee; Zhang Wei,Vice President and Deputy Chief Architect of THAD, served as the co-Director of the UIA Professional Practices Committee.

THAD also actively participates in UIA conferences, China Pavilion exhibitions, UIA forums, paper submissions, etc., representing Tsinghua Design in the international arena. 2023, THAD has been selected by Architectural Society of China as the Chief Curatorial Organizationof China Pavilion at the UIA Member Sections Exhibition, UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 Barcelona, and Liu Yulong, Chairman and Chief Architect of THAD, will serve as the chief curator of the Pavilion, while Ren Fei, President and Chief Architect of THAD, will serve as the executive chief curator, and a curatorial academic committee has been set up for this important exhibition to co-ordinate the planning to ensure that the exhibition will be full of content and innovative forms, and will fully demonstrate the frontier achievements and future trends of China's architectural field.Through field research, international collaboration and several rounds of preparatory meetings, the exhibition will endeavour to build an international exchange platform and systematically present the frontier achievements and development trends of Chinese architecture.

2026（巴塞罗那）世界建筑师大会UIA成员学会展由国际建协主办。本次中国馆策展单位特别成立了策展学术委员，汇聚院士、大师、各大高校教授、国内大院及著名独立设计事务所主持建筑师及活跃在中国市场的海外知名事务所主持设计师，形成多元协同的学术共同体。力图让更多人了解、参与策展过程，彰显国际视野学术交往交流国际平台。

The UIA Member Sections Exhibition, UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 Barcelona is hosted by UIA. The curatorial corporation of the China Pavilion has specially established a Curatorial Academic Committee for this time, bringing together a diverse and collaborative academic community composed of China's academicians, design masters, professors from leading architecture schools, leading architects from major design institutes, renowned independent studios, as well as internationally acclaimed firms active in the Chinese market. This initiative aims to broaden participation and public engagement in the curatorial process, while showcasing the China Pavilion as an international platform for academic exchange with a global perspective.
