姜峰， J&A杰恩设计创始人、总设计师。教授级高级建筑师、国务院特殊津贴专家、深圳市工程勘察设计大师、建筑学硕士、中欧国际工商学院EMBA。姜峰先生作为创基金首任理事长、中国室内装饰协会副会长、中国建筑装饰协会设计分会会长、中国建筑学会室内设计分会名誉副理事长、广东省工程勘察设计行业协会建筑装饰分会副会长，多年来致力于推动设计行业的发展及设计公益事业。先后受聘于天津美院、四川美院、鲁迅美院、深圳大学、北京建筑大学、哈尔滨工业大学等高校，担任特聘教授或研究生导师。

Frank Jiang, J&A chairman,chief designer,senior architect in the professor level,state department special allowance specialist and Master of Architecture,CEIBS EMBA.He acts as the first director of Creators Fund, Vice President of China Interior Decoration Association ,Vice President of Interior Design Branch of China Institute of Architecture,Vice President of China Building Decoration Association Design Committee and other social positions.He is employed in Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts,Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts,Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts,Shenzhen University,Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture and other universities as a visiting professor or tutor of graduate students.

姜峰先生历年来在国家级刊物中发表了二十多篇学术论文，其设计作品屡获国内、亚太乃至世界大奖，个人也荣誉不断，姜峰先生曾获得中国室内设计十大风云人物、中国设计名人榜·十大领军人物、中国华语设计领袖人物、中国酒店设计领军人物，入选美国《室内设计》名人堂，2015年更是作为室内设计行业的唯一代表入选深圳市百名行业领军人物。

Over the years,he has published more than 20 papers in national journals and his design work received national,Asia-Pacific and even international awards.Meanwhile,he consistently received personal honor including Lifetime Design Achievement Awards,Top 10 Outstanding Youth in Shenzhen,Top 10 Influential Figures of Chinese Interior Design,Outstanding Achievement Awards of Chinese Interior Design,One of Top 10 Leaders on the List of Chinese Designer Celebrities, One of the leaders of Chinese design, Leading Figure of Chinese Hotel Design,2018 Chinese Design Celebrity.In 2015, he even got selected into Shenzhen Top 100 Industry Leading Figures as the only representative of interior design.

什么才是领先的设计，或者说什么才是最好的设计？

What is a leading design for you or what is the best design?

好的设计应该有三个层次。第一，好看好用；第二，带来商业价值；第三，推动社会的可持续发展。

A good design has three levels. First, it looks good and functions well. Second, it brings business value. Third, it promotes social sustainable development.

能够持续不断的做出让业主满意，让社会能够认可的设计，是我们在整个公司内部推动的设计理念，我们也希望未来有更多的设计师能够朝着这个方向去努力。

Being able to continuo usly make clients pleased with our design which is also widely approved by the society s erves as the design principle that our company promotes. We hope that more designers can work towards this goal in the future.

QUESTIONS ABOUT FIRM&PROJECT

关于公司和项目

杰恩设计做了很多城市的地标性项目，这些大型的公共性地标项目在设计过程中会有哪些挑战？杰恩设计是如何应对的？

J&A has designed landmark projects in many cities. What are the challenges in the design process of large-scale public landmark projects? How do you tackle them?

那么我们在做这些项目的时候，我们并不是把它当做一个简单的工程去做。我们首先看它的社会意义和它未来对城市的贡献。第二个，我们会很好的跟建筑设计团队商讨如何从建筑到室内去连贯、融为一体。

When we work on these projects, we don’t see them as simple projects. We first look at the social significance and future contribution to the city. Secondly, we discuss with the architecture team on integrating the architecture and the interior part.

第三个，我觉得我们要一个非常有前瞻性的创意。前几天我去深圳市民中心开会，我看到市民中心的时候感觉很亲切，因为这是我二十几年前设计的项目，到现在我觉得还保持着它特有的风貌。

Thirdly, we need a very forward-thinking concept. The other day I went to Shenzhen Citizen Center for a meeting. I felt intimate when I saw Shenzhen Citizen Center because this is the project, I designed over 20 years ago. I think it still maintains its style of uniqueness.

那么最后，就是对于整个项目从方案到施工过程的整体把控，杰恩设计有一定的经验和优势。我们还有一个非常强大的PMO，就是项目管理团队，能够系统性的把控整个项目。

Lastly, we need control from the concept design phase to the construction phase of the whole project.J&A has a lot of experiences and advantages. Also, we have a very strong PMO, which is the project management team. It lets us systematically control the entire project.

那么，我们这些年也一直提倡低碳绿色设计。还有我们公司在几年前自己研发了我们整个的数字化系统。这样的一个数字化系统能够帮助我们在整个设计的全过程当中，通过数字化的手段来对整个的项目进行管控。

In addition, we have been advocating low-carbon green design for years. And we developed our own digital system years ago.This digital system helps us to control projects through digital means in the whole process of design.

2014年您与其他九位设计师一起发起了创基金，您做这件事的初衷是什么？

I n 2014, you launched “C Foundation” with nine designers. What’s your original purpose?

我们在举办一次学术活动的时候，我们就聊起来，我们觉得我们这些人是幸运的，能够参与到中国城市的一个快速发展的历史阶段。那么，接下来我们怎么样能够对年轻的设计师给予支持、帮助，用我们走过来的这些经验能够或多或少的给他们一些支持，所以我们就成立了“创基金”。

It happened during an academic event. We talked and agreed that our generation of designers was very lucky. We were able to participate in a historical phase of rapid urban development in China. How can we support young designers next? We can give them support with the experiences that we have been through. So, we set up “C Foundation”.

未来我们还想继续的吸纳更多有志于参与到设计公益行列的设计师们，能够加入到创基金团队来，能够共同推动设计公益慈善的道路能够向前走的更远。这也是我们这一代人需要去回馈行业，回馈社会的地方。

In the future, we will keep open to designers who are willing to participate in public welfare to join our “C Foundation” team, together promoting design public welfare to go further. This is what our generation needs to give back to our industry and society.

您曾代表中国设计师参加2015和2016年米兰设计周，您的家具设计作品《聚·离》和《素月》被意大利媒体广泛报道，也与意大利品牌TURRI连续三年深度合作。能和我们分享一下背后的故事吗？

You participated in the 2015 and 2016 Milan Design Week as the representative of Chinese designers. Your work "Gathering and Leaving" and "Su Yue" were widely reported by Italian media and you also collaborated with Italian brand Turri for three years. Could you share the story with us?

我们很幸运在2015年和2016年两次参加米兰展的场外展。我们去了十多年的米兰展，我们中国设计师有一个非常强烈的愿望，有朝一日能够在米兰展的主展场展示我们中国设计师的作品。

Well, we're very lucky. We participated in the 2015 and 2016 Milan Design Week’s Fuorisalone. We've been to Milan Design Week for over a decade. We Chinese designers have a very strong desire. That one day at the main exhibition in Milan Design Week, we can show our works.

“素月”这件家具当时我们构想的时候，是希望把中国传统的明式家具做一些提炼，而不是简单的把它复制出来。然后把意大利家具的一些时尚元素，或者说一些造型材料融入其中。那么做了这样的一个梳妆台，我们给他起名“素月”。这件作品获得了很多媒体的好评和关注，WALLPAPER杂志也专门对这个作品做了报道。

When we worked on the concept, we hoped to do some abstract refining of traditional Chinese Ming-style furniture instead of simply copying it. Then put some Italian furniture’s fashion elements, form, and materials into it. So we created this dresser, we named it “Su Yue”. This work has received a lot of praise and attention from the media. Wallpaper Magazine also reported it exclusively.

意大利的一个非常知名的家具品牌TURRI，它的老板去参观托尔托纳展厅的时候也特别喜欢这件作品。他后来通过关系找到我，来到深圳跟我们谈，希望我能为TURRI做一个系列的设计。

A very famous Italian furniture brand, Turri. The boss very liked this piece of work when he visited the showroom in Tortona. Later, he found me through his connections and came to Shenzhen to talk with us, hoping that I could do a series of designs for Turri.

能够有机会在米兰展这样的世界最顶级家具展览的舞台上展示中国设计的力量，我觉得这也是一个非常好的事情，后来我就答应了他的请求。TURRI的老板又在2018年、2019年连续三年请我来做他们的设计，都获得很好的评价，而且卖的很好。

To have the opportunity to showcase the power of Chinese design on the stage of the world's top furniture exhibition like Milan Design Week. I think it's great. Then I agreed on the collaboration. In 2018 and 2019, the boss of Turri invited me to do more designs for three consecutive years. All my works receive good reviews and sell well.

QUESTIONS ABOUT WORK&LIFE

关于工作与生活

作为这么大的一个设计公司的管理者负责人，您平时是怎么样保持这么充沛的精力和源源不断的灵感呢？

As the CEO of such a big design company. How do you keep energetic and constantly inspired?

第一，就是要保持一个年轻的心态，我觉得要多跟年轻人在一起, 多学习一些新的东西。第二个，就是要有一个终身学习的精神。

The first is to keep a youthful mind. Get along with young people and learn new things. Secondly, we need to have a lifelong learning spirit.

那么对于另外一个问题，我觉得更多的是靠我们整个团队。我觉得我们团队是非常有活力, 非常年轻，同时非常有进取精神。我们经常说一个人可以走的很快，但一群人可能走的更远。

The answer for the other one is to depend on our team. Our team is very energetic, young and aggressive. We often say if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

您拥有建筑学教育背景，之后从建筑介入室内设计。建筑学背景对您而言是优势吗？

As the CEO of such a big design company. How do you keep energetic and constantly inspired?

其实在我们上学的时候，室内设计是在建筑学范畴之内的。那时的建筑学是一个广义的建筑学，包括景观也在建筑学的范畴之内。所以在我看来，建筑和室内是融为一体的。

In fact, when we were in school, interior design was within the scope of architecture. At that time, architecture had a broad range and landscape was also within the scope of architecture. So in my opinion, the architecture and the interior are integrated.

我的建筑学教育背景对于我进行室内设计实践有很大的帮助。因为室内是建筑的延续，从建筑学的角度来做室内设计的时候，我会有更多对空间的把控以及对整个建筑的理解，让建筑和室内能够融为一体，呈现出一个更加完整的效果。而不是建筑是建筑，室内是室内。那样的话，空间是完全割裂的。我觉得这是有建筑学背景的人做室内设计的一个有利方面。

My architectural education background is of great help to my interior design practice. Because interior is a continuation of architecture, when I work on interior design from the perspective of architecture, I have more control over space and understanding of the whole building, so that the building and interior can be integrated and present a more complete effect. If we see building and the interior as separate parts, the whole space will be completely divided. I think it's an advantage for someone with an architectural background to work on interior design.

QUESTION ABOUT FUTURE

关于未来

目前从国际到国家层面，大家都在提一个概念“双碳目标”，对这个概念您在公司的战略布局上有什么考虑呢？

At present, from the international to the national level, everyone is talking about "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals". What’s your strategy for the company as to these goals?

我们杰恩设计的使命是“用设计在人间创造天堂”。

The mission of J&A is to " To create a paradise on earth with design”.

我们在很多年前就提出了创建我们自己内部的《杰恩可持续设计60条》，把我们的绿色设计理念融入到整个设计的全链条过程当中。这个做了一个长期的铺垫。

Many years ago, we proposed and created our in-house J&A Green Design Sixty Terms, integrating our green design principal into our entire design chain process. This lays the ground for the long term.

那么第二个，就是我们跟清华大学、中国建筑科学研究院，共同编写了国内第一个室内设计的绿色规范，叫做《民用建筑室内绿色评价标准》。这个是目前也是第一个，也是唯一一个行业标准。

Secondly, we worked with China Academy of Building Research, Tsinghua University .We co-wrote the first national green interior design code, called “Assessment Standard for Interior Green Performance of Civil Buildings”. This is currently the first and the only industry standard.

那么另外一个我们非常重视像WELL这样的健康标准的实施或者是普及，我们希望能够继续去推动行业的绿色低碳发展。

And we also pay great attention to the implementation or popularization of health standards like WELL building standards. We hope that we can continue to promote the green and low-carbon development of the industry.
