On Tuesday, April 17th we had the pleasure to host Art Gensler, the founder of our firm, in celebration of the launch of the Mandarin-language edition of his book, Art's Principles.

我们非常荣幸于4月17日（周二）迎接了我们公司的创始人亚瑟·甘斯勒先生莅临上海，并热烈庆祝甘斯勒先生新书《亚瑟法则》中文版的顺利发行。

Art Gensler shared insights from the 50+ years of building the largest design firm in the world, as well as a few personal stories about his clients, including Donald Fisher (founder of The GAP) and Steve Jobs (founder of Apple). 

甘斯勒先生在新书发布会的演讲中分享了他在过去五十多年期间如何逐步打造出了享誉全球规模最大的设计公司，并讲述了他与客户合作中亲身经历的一些小故事, 这其中包含唐纳德·费舍尔（Gap创始人）以及史帝夫·乔布斯（苹果创始人）。

Industry leaders and partners have provided fantastic support in the planning and promotion of this event and actively participated in the proceedings. Led by Xiaomei Lee, Regional Managing Principal of Greater China, Gensler. Mr. Chunhua Song personally attended this event from Beijing and delivered an inspiring talk, expressing his view that Gensler introduced high-level design and management practices in the fields of supertall building design via the Shanghai Tower project, as well as historical preservation practice via the Shanghai Trust project. Following him, Chairman Cao Jiaming of the Architectural Society of Shanghai, on behalf of the constituent member organizations, affirmed the importance of this event to the cooperation and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign architectural design management communities. Finally, The Vice President of the China Architecture & Building Press publishing house elaborated on the significance of the publication of the Chinese language edition of the book.

Located at Shanghai Trust, a Gensler restoration project, this event drew more than 200 people.Gensler design team also conducted tours for VIP guests, providing insight into Gensler's approach to building preservation and restoration. 

本次活动在晋思主持改建的项目 - 上海信托总部举行，吸引了业内200多位贵宾出席。Gensler设计团队分批带领嘉宾深度参观了上海信托并全程提供详细讲解，分享了我们在历史保护建筑翻新及保存方面的设计思路及心得。
