深圳，2020年5月8日——由OMA/克里斯·范杜恩主创设计的招商局前海环贸中心于近日在中国深圳举行的前海重大项目集体开工仪式正式揭开施工序幕。这座计容面积360,000平方米的综合功能建筑，被构想为一座微缩城市——一个集合浓缩多种元素的都市空间，突破建筑与城市语境之间的传统界限。项目落成后不单只是一座大楼、一组建筑，还将会是一个街区、一座城。

项目整体共包含两座主塔楼、一座方形塔楼以及裙房部分。两座主塔楼造型由一系列窄长的体块叠加组成，横跨天际的一条空中天桥将两者连接起来。方形塔楼悬浮于裙房顶上。项目建筑形体具有强烈的方向性，指向前海湾与大小南山，同时与项目毗邻的周边城市环境的尺度形成互动对话。立体化的流线将所有公共功能和私人功能联系在一起，为各层提供良好的通达性。属流线网络一部份的空中天桥是该项目建筑的一大特色，在天际塑造形成了一个公共文化平台以及可眺望城市美景的观景平台。

OMA-DESIGNED CMG QIANHAI GLOBAL TRADE CENTER HAS BROKEN GROUND IN SHENZHEN

Shenzhen, 8 May, 2020 – The design of CMG Qianhai Global Trade Center by OMA / Chris van Duijn has been unveiled at the Inauguration Ceremony for Qianhai Significant Projects in Shenzhen, China. The mixed-used development with 360,000 square-meter capacity area has been conceived as a compressed urban environment—a Micro-City—in which traditional boundaries between building and the urban context are challenged. When completed, the project will at once be a tower, a cluster, a neighborhood and a city.

The building will be comprised of a collection of slender volumes forming two main towers, a skybridge connecting them, and a cube-shaped building hovering above the podium. It will have a strong directionality pointing towards the QianhaiBay and the Nanshan Mountains, while responding to the urban scale of its immediate surroundings. A three-dimensional trajectory will tie all public and private programs together, allowing accessibility on all levels. The skybridge in this trajectory will be the most prominent feature of the building, offering a public cultural platform and a viewing deck overseeing the city.

CMG Qianhai Global Trade Center is scheduled for completion in 2024.
