2020年末，美国《Interior Design》编辑团队在其官网发布了专题总结性文章“10 Riveting Retail Spaces”，从全球范围内的零售类投稿作品中， 评选出本年度十个最令人着迷的零售空间。AD ARCHITECTURE 艾克建筑 —— 衍生-TRONGYEE 项目入选本年度十个最令人着迷的零售空间，在这份年度十大零售空间榜单中，AD艾克建筑设计也成为了此次唯一入榜的中国设计团队 !

At the end of 2020, the editorial team of "Interior Design" in the United States released a thematic summary article "10 Riveting Retail Spaces" on its official website, and selected the ten most fascinating retail spaces of the year from the retail submissions worldwide.AD ARCHITECTURE——TRONGYEE Boutique project was selected as the ten most fascinating retail space this year. In this year's top ten retail space list,AD ARCHITECTURE has also become the only China to enter the list design team !

在此之前，《Interior Design》编辑Rebecca Lo也为Trongyee项目进行了独家撰稿，整版大篇幅挖掘这一年度惊艳之作背后的独特设计立意和细节考量。

Prior to this, "Interior Design" editor Rebecca Lo also wrote an exclusive article for the Trongyee project. The full page explored the unique design ideas and detailed considerations behind this year's stunning work.

10 Riveting Retail Spaces #

AD艾克建筑设计为中国汕头Trongyee时装集合店打造“盛装新颜”。

AD Architecture creates a "new look" for the Trongyee fashion collection store in Shantou, China.

主零售空间的地面之上，竖立着拉丝不锈钢材质的“磁盘”装置，仿佛将定制的石灰岩方几进行切割。

On the ground of the main retail space, a “disk” device made of brushed stainless steel stands upright, as if cutting a custom-made limestone cube.

“为了把TRONGYEE定位在更高的层次，设计师提出了进化和衍生的概念，巧妙地对空间进行了改造，某些原本存在的元素在被重新设计之后，已经焕然一新。从某种意义上来说，这和时尚界的潮流变化规律很相似。” Rebecca在文中写道。

"In order to position TRONGYEE at a higher level, the designer put forward the concept of evolution and derivation, and cleverly transformed the space. After some original elements have been redesigned, they have been completely new. In a sense This is very similar to the trend of the fashion industry.” Rebecca wrote in the article.

Rebecca还提到：“玻璃店面延伸了整个建筑的宽度，创造了一种整个建筑被压缩的视觉效果，鲜明的对比也在这里起到了作用——故意让外部暗淡，凸显出店内的明亮。门头的立面上唯一的装饰是背光的TRONGYEE标志，像一个华盖的形状，除了作为品牌的标识，它还暗示了内部的几何空间感。”

Rebecca also mentioned: "The glass storefront extends the width of the entire building, creating a visual effect where the entire building is compressed. The sharp contrast also plays a role here-deliberately dimming the exterior to highlight the brightness of the store. The only decoration on the façade of the head is the backlit TRONGYEE logo, which resembles a canopy shape. In addition to being the brand's logo, it also implies a sense of geometric space inside."

In the past few years, Xie Peihe has designedmany exceptional commercial, residential and office projects, which have wonmultiple world-class design awards. His pioneering "minimalistic art"space design language is well-known both in the east and the west, andrecognized by the global design industry. He was invited as one of theinternational judges of 2020 Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design.With "Architecture as Art" as the motto, this authoritative award'sjury includes worldly famous architects Daniel Libeskind, Mario Botta, Toyo Ito,Ricardo Bofill and others. Meanwhile, Mr. Xie was invited by LOOP Design Awards2020 and became one of the members of the first jury since its establishment.
