2025年10月23日下午，德国gmp建筑师事务所合伙人兼执行总裁吴蔚受聘为同济大学兼职教授，授聘仪式暨学术报告会在同济大学建筑与城市规划学院钟庭报告厅隆重举行。同济大学建筑与城市规划学院与同济大学建筑设计研究院（集团）有限公司共同组织本次活动。

On the afternoon of October 23, 2025, in Zhongting Hall, College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP), Tongji University, Wu Wei—Executive Partner of gmp – Architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners—was formally appointed Tongji University Adjunct Professor. The conferral ceremony and academic lecture were jointly organized by CAUP and the Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. (TJAD).

报告厅内高朋满座、嘉宾云集。出席活动的嘉宾包括：中国科学院院士常青教授、中国工程院院士吴志强教授、中国工程院院士李兴钢教授、全国工程勘察设计大师丁洁民教授、全国工程勘察设计大师钱锋教授。同济大学校长助理冯世进教授为吴蔚教授颁发聘书，并与学院党委书记王桢栋教授共同为其佩戴同济大学校徽。受聘仪式由建筑系系主任王一教授主持。

The auditorium was packed with distinguished guests. Among them were Academician Chang Qing of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Wu Zhiqiang of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician Li Xinggang of Chinese Academy of Engineering, National Engineering Survey & Design Master Ding Jiemin, National Engineering Survey & Design Master Qian Feng. Professor Feng Shijin, Assistant to the President of Tongji University, presented the appointment certificate and, together with Professor Wang Zhendong, Party Secretary of CAUP, pinned the Tongji University badge on Professor Wu Wei. Professor Wang Yi, Chair of the Department of Architecture, hosted the ceremony.

来自清华大学、东南大学、南京大学、北京交通大学、北京建筑大学等兄弟院校的专家学者应邀参加。同时，来自同济大学建筑与城市规划学院、同济大学建筑设计研究院（集团）有限公司、华东建筑设计研究院有限公司、华建集团上海建筑设计研究院有限公司、华南理工大学建筑设计研究院、矶崎新+胡倩工作室、筑境设计、北京弘石设计、上海联创、时代建筑等单位的专家学者、设计师和学生近两百余人参会，共同见证这一重要时刻。

Scholars from Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Nanjing University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture and other sister schools attended. In total, nearly 200 faculty, designers and students from CAUP, TJAD, East China Architectural Design & Research Institute (ECADI), Arcplus Shanghai Architectural Design & Research Institute, South China University of Technology Architectural Design Institute, Arata Isozaki + Hu Qian Studio, CCTN Design, Beijing HONGSHI Design, United Design Group, Time + Architecture and other institutions witnessed the moment.

授聘仪式上，冯世进教授代表学校致辞，对吴蔚教授长期推动gmp与同济大学的深度合作表示感谢。他指出，吴蔚教授的加入，将为同济建筑在国际化办学与高水平实践之间架起新的桥梁。

Addressing the audience, Professor Feng Shijin thanked Professor Wu Wei for his long-standing role in deepening cooperation between gmp and Tongji. “Professor Wu’s joining will build a new bridge between Tongji’s international education and high-level practice,” he said.

常青院士、吴志强院士、李兴钢院士分别致辞，回顾了同济大学与德国建筑界长期以来的深厚渊源，肯定了吴蔚教授在国际建筑实践中的学术高度与职业坚守。王桢栋教授代表学院表示，吴蔚教授的加盟，不仅是同济建筑国际合作的新篇章，也象征着理性设计与人文关怀的再度汇合。汤朔宁教授回顾了同济设计院与gmp事务所多年来在多个标志性项目上的深度共创，期待未来扩展新的合作共赢。李振宇教授在致辞中以“理性中的浪漫”总结gmp建筑的精神特质，并赞誉吴蔚教授“敦厚至诚、持之以恒，相互成就，有容乃大”。

Academicians Chang Qing, Wu Zhiqiang and Li Xinggang recalled the decades-old ties between Tongji and the German architectural world, praising Wu’s academic stature and professional integrity. Professor Wang Zhendong described the appointment as “a new chapter of international cooperation and a renewed convergence of rational design and humanistic care.” Professor Tang Shuoning reviewed TJAD and gmp’s co-creation of landmark projects such as the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, Xi’an Silk-Road Convention & Exhibition Center and Zhengdong Greenland Center, voicing hopes for wider win-win collaboration. Professor Li Zhenyu characterized gmp’s spirit as “romance within rationality,” lauding Wu Wei as “modest, sincere, persistent and inclusive.”

在随后的学术报告中，吴蔚教授以《跨文化实践中的理性、本土化与未来》为题，以自身的建筑之路为线索，回顾了从重庆到苏黎世、从德国到中国的求学与实践历程。他以清晰的逻辑和真挚的叙述，阐释了跨文化语境下“理性主义与地域性”的融合之道。

In his lecture “Rationality, Locality and the Future of Architecture in Cross-Cultural Practice,” Professor Wu Wei traced his personal journey from Chongqing to Zurich and from Germany to China, articulating how rationalism and regionalism merge in a cross-cultural context.

他指出，gmp事务所二十年来在中国的建筑实践，不仅是技术与方法的输出，更是一次文化的双向学习。从与同济大学合作邀请冯·格康（Meinhard von Gerkan）担任顾问教授、尼古劳斯·格茨（Nikolaus Goetze）担任“李德华罗小未设计教席”教授，到与同济大学建筑设计院携手完成上海东方体育中心、西安丝路会议会展中心、郑东绿地中心等代表性项目，gmp与同济的合作已成为国际建筑教育与设计共创的典范。

He emphasized that gmp’s 20-year practice in China is not a one-way export of technology but a two-way cultural learning. Beginning with inviting Meinhard von Gerkan as Tongji advisory professor and Nikolaus Goetze as “Li Dehua & Luo Xiaowei Visiting Professor,” and continuing with joint works such as the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, Xi’an Silkroad International Conference Center and Zhengzhou Greenland Center, the cooperation has become a model of international architectural education and co-design.

在讲座中，吴蔚教授还系统梳理了gmp“地域主义的国际实践”——从汉堡的苏黎世中心、德日中心，到华沙国家体育场、摩西·马布海达体育场，再到中国国家博物馆改扩建、南宁国际会展中心、宝安体育场、亚洲金融大厦暨亚投行总部、西安丝路国际会议中心等项目，展示了gmp基于对话式设计方法，以理性为骨、以文化为魂的设计理念。

Wu systematically presented gmp’s “international practice of regionalism,” spanning: Zurich Center and German-Japanese Center in Hamburg, National Stadium in Warsaw, Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, National Museum of China in Beijing, Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center, Bao’an Stadium in Shenzhen, Asian Financial Center & AIIB Headquarters in Beijing, Xi’an Silk-Road International Conference Center. All illustrate gmp’s philosophy base of Design in Dialogue: rationality as the backbone, culture as the soul.

讲座结束后，东南大学鲍莉教授与清华大学宋晔皓教授先后发言。他们表示，吴蔚教授作为在中国接受建筑教育、并在国际一流事务所成长为合伙人的建筑师，展现了非凡的专业素养与文化自信，是连接中外建筑界的重要桥梁。

Following the lecture, Professor Bao Li of Southeast University and Professor Song Yehao of Tsinghua University commented that Wu Wei—educated in China and now a partner at a world-leading firm—embodies professional excellence and cultural confidence, serving as a vital bridge between Chinese and global architecture.

作为吴蔚教授的父亲，兰州大学的吴隆民教授回顾了他在苏黎世留学期间曾与同济大学原校长吴启迪教授共同求学的往事。他长期关注同济大学的发展，对吴蔚教授与同济大学再度携手，在教育与实践中深化中德交流，既感到欣慰，也倍感亲切，并祝愿未来的合作成果丰硕、情谊长存。

Professor Wu Longmin of Lanzhou University, Wu Wei’s father, reminisced about studying in Zurich with former Tongji President Wu Qidi and expressed delight at his son’s renewed bond with Tongji, wishing the partnership fruitful and enduring.

此次授聘与讲座，不仅见证了吴蔚教授正式加入同济大学建筑与城规学院的学术共同体，也再次印证了“同济建筑”国际化、重实践的特色。未来，学院将以此为契机，继续深化与全球顶尖建筑事务所的合作，推动教学、科研与设计实践的联动创新。

The appointment and lecture mark Professor Wu Wei’s formal entry into the Tongji architectural community and reaffirm the school’s hallmark of international outlook and practice-oriented education. CAUP will seize this momentum to deepen collaboration with top global firms and to advance integrated innovation in teaching, research and design.

吴蔚1992年在重庆建筑工程学院（现重庆大学）建筑系建筑学专业毕业，获工学学士学位，1995年进入瑞士苏黎世联邦理工学院建筑系学习，2000年获得Diplom（硕士）学位，并加入瑞士苏黎世Skyline Architecture事务所工作。2001年加入德国gmp建筑师事务所，担任北京代表处首席代表。2004年担任项目合伙人，并于2009年成为中国区合伙人。从2019年起，担任gmp建筑师事务所合伙人兼执行总裁。

After completing his studies in Chongqing, China, Wei Wu worked as an architect in Lanzhou and Shanghai from 1992 to 1994. In 1995 he started further architectural studies at ETH Zurich, where he studied under Prof. Mario Campi and finished with a diploma in 2000. After working for the Zurich practice Skyline Architecture, Wu joined gmp · von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects in 2001, where he initially started as Head Representative of the offices in Beijing and Shanghai. In 2004, he became an Associate Partner, in 2009 Partner for China and then Executive Partner in 2019.
