gmp新闻 | UMBAU·改建，不间断转变—gmp展览在上海久事艺术沙龙开幕-建筑档案

继威尼斯、汉堡、纽约和柏林之后，gmp展览“UMBAU·改建，不间断转变”开启了第五段旅程。2025年4月10日至5月5日，gmp在久事艺术沙龙展出14个改建项目，通过具体范例展示事务所的改造更新实践。本次展览由gmp与上海久事（集团）有限公司联合主办，上海久事置业有限公司与上海久事文化传播有限公司承办，得到了上海丽业光电科技有限公司的大力支持。

With this fifth edition of UMBAU. Nonstop Transformation, gmp presents its approach to building conversions through specific case studies. After shows in Venice, Hamburg, New York, and Berlin, fourteen conversion projects from Europe and Asia are on exhibit in Shanghai from April 10 to May 5. The exhibition was organized in cooperation with the Shanghai Jiushi Group and with the support of Shanghai Jiushi Properties, Shanghai JUCE Culture and Media, and Shanghai Liye Optoelectronics Technology.

2025年4月9日，gmp与联合主办方上海久事（集团）有限公司共同为此次展览揭幕。gmp合伙人兼执行总裁吴蔚、施特凡·胥茨和玛德琳·唯斯在开幕式致辞。同时，开幕仪式上还荣幸地邀请到以下致辞嘉宾：中国科学院院士郑时龄教授、上海久事（集团）有限公司副总裁谷际庆、德国驻上海总领事馆科教领事孔有为（Uwe Koch）、上海大学上海美术学院院长曾成钢。上海市规划与自然资源局局长张玉鑫和同济大学副校长李翔宁莅临指导。

On April 9, 2025, UMBAU. Nonstop Transformation opened at the Jiushi Art Salon in Shanghai with a ceremony held together with our co-organizer Shanghai Jiushi (Group) Co., Ltd. The gmp Executive Partners Wei Wu, Stephan Schütz, and Magdalena Weiß gave the welcoming speeches. Numerous representatives from cultural, municipal, and academic institutions as well as from the construction sector also spoke, including Prof. Zheng Shiling, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Gu Jiqing, Vice President of Shanghai Jiushi (Group) Co., Ltd.; Uwe Koch, Culture, Science and Technology Consul of Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Shanghai and Zeng Chenggang, President of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University. Zhang Yuxin, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources and Li Xiangning, Vice President of Tongji University attend the meeting.

Representatives of gmp’s clients and long-standing partners – Mr. Gui Enliang, President of Yangtze River Delta Investment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.; Mr. Wu Panfeng, Vice Chairman of Board and President of Big Shanghai Bund Investment Group; Ye Shouzeng, Founder of the ICCF Group; Yao Ji, Chairman of the Board of the East China Architectural Design and Research Institute and Tang Shouning, President of the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tongji University – opened the exhibition together with the speakers. Afterwards, gmp partners guided all the guests through the exhibition.

改建（UMBAU）意味着建筑遗产的持续转型。随着时代的变迁，人类对建筑的要求也发生着改变。在这个持续更新变化的过程中，对建筑材料和部件的再利用及循环使用既可节约资源、避免废料产生，也能利用现有建筑中储存的隐含能源。各种形式的建筑和当地遗产在这种实践中得以延续。改建——作为一种古老的文化技术手段，被赋予了崭新的现实意义。

UMBAU (conversion) means the ongoing transformation of existing structures. Just as times change, the requirements placed on our built environment also change. In the context of this ongoing process of change, those who reuse and recycle materials and components conserve resources, avoid waste, and make use of the gray energy stored in existing buildings. This practice also sustains architectural (and local) heritage in all its forms. Hence UMBAU, an ancient cultural technique, is gaining new relevance.

2025年是gmp·冯·格康，玛格及合伙人建筑师事务所创立60周年，gmp一直在全球范围内致力于建筑的改造更新，迄今已完成了九十个改建项目中的六十个，其中14个项目参加了在久事艺术沙龙举办的“UMBAU·改建，不间断转变”展览。展馆位于上海外滩繁华的北京东路，此次展览是迄今为止gmp改建巡展中规模最大的一次。展出项目涵盖了全球范围内不同功能、类型和规模的建筑，既有重要的公共建筑，也有日常建筑。它们皆是建筑改造实践的典范，也代表了改建在当前所面临的全球性挑战。

2025 marks the 60th anniversary of gmp · von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects. We have been engaged with the topic of UMBAU worldwide and have completed sixty conversions, with another thirty are currently in the planning stage. Fourteen of these projects are on display in the largest UMBAU exhibition to date at the Jiushi Art Salon on Beijing East Road on the Bund in Shanghai. The selection includes buildings of various uses, typologies, and sizes. Public buildings as well as projects for private clients are represented. They are exemplary of the architectural practice of UMBAU and represent a cross section of today’s global challenges in building conversion.

gmp从全面评估分析入手，针对现有建筑制定方案，以确保其现代使用功能。重新激活现有建筑的多样性始终是这一过程的核心。作为建筑改造经验的记载，gmp展示了项目从概念方案起源到改建完成这一持续变革的各个重要阶段。展览通过影片、模型和规划图纸等多种媒体方式来展示项目的历史和现状。

From a comprehensive exploration, concepts are developed that build on existing structures and ensure a contemporary use. At the heart of this process is always the reactivation of the existing, in all its diversity. To document our experiences, we examine the stages of continuous change, from conceptual origin to UMBAU. The past and present of the projects are presented in film, models, and drawings.

观展时，观众可以浏览欧洲和中国不同类型的建筑项目，包括中国国家博物馆、马德里圣地亚哥·伯纳乌球场和慕尼黑加斯泰格汉普8号伊萨尔爱乐音乐厅等重要的文化和体育建筑，以及北京CHAO酒店等日常建筑。还有改造自上海最大不锈钢厂的上海大学上海美术学院等教育建筑以及位于柏林文化中心的汉斯·夏隆的国立图书馆的改建规划均为此次展览的一部分。不久前完成的上海之禾卡纷花园和北京京印国际中心也是首次展出。

The exhibition takes visitors on a tour through projects of various typologies from Europe and China. On display are major cultural and sports buildings such as the National Museum of China, the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, and the Gasteig HP8 Isarphilharmonie in Munich, as well as everyday architecture like the Chao Hotel in Beijing. Educational buildings are also featured, including the transformation of Shanghai’s largest former stainless steel factory into the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, and the planned renovation of the State Library (Hans Scharoun) at Berlin’s Kulturforum. For the first time, recently completed projects such as the ICCF Garden in Shanghai and the Jing In Center in Beijing are also being presented.
