日前，由gmp·冯·格康，玛格及合伙人建筑师事务所设计的建筑改造项目京印国际中心凭借其在城市更新领域的卓越表现，荣获了由北京城市规划学会颁发的“2024年度北京城市更新最佳实践优秀项目”。京印国际中心是继中国国家博物馆改扩建、北京三里屯CHAO酒店和上海之禾卡纷花园之后，gmp在中国又一落成的改造更新类项目。这一荣誉不仅标志着项目自身的成功转型，也是对gmp在中国城市更新领域多年实践的肯定与认可。

JingIN International Center, a new conversion project designed by gmp – von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects, has been recently awarded the prize of "2024 Beijing Urban Renewal Best Practice" by Urban Planning Society of Beijng. JingIN International Center is gmp's latest completed conversion project in China, following the National Museum of China, Beijing Sanlitun CHAO Hotel and ICICLE Garden in Shanghai Hengfu Area. This honor not only signifies the successful transformation of the project itself but also a recognition of gmp's practice in the field of urban renewal in China.

京印国际中心的前身是北京丰台区毗邻北京南站的一座建于2002年的购物中心，gmp在改造过程中优化利用了旧建筑的现有结构，将这座52米高的建筑向城市空间开放，并重新阐释了建筑在新的城市规划和职能布局中的意义。改造重点是尽可能将自然光线引入原本依靠人工照明的商铺楼层深处。通过中庭空间的改造，设计塑造了独特的办公景观，原本封闭的建筑也重新融入了城市空间。

The original building was a shopping mall built in 2002 next to the Beijing South Station. During the renovation process, gmp optimized the utilization of the old structure, opening up the 52-meter-high building to the urban space and reinterpreting its significance within the new urban planning and functional layout. The main design task was to get as much daylight as possible into the deep, previously artificially lit store floors. Through the transformation of the atrium space, the design created a unique office landscape, and the previously introverted building was integrated into the urban space.

改造后的京印国际中心包含约10万平方米的写字楼和2万平方米的配套商业空间，通过优化建筑结构、升级外幕墙与机电系统等节能措施，项目达到了国际甲级办公楼标准，并获得了LEED金级与绿建二星双认证。京印国际中心的改造不仅提升了北京南站区域的环境品质，还成为丰台区“站城融合”的新地标，推动了区域经济的高质量发展。京印国际中心的成功转型和获奖，体现了城市更新在推动区域经济转型升级、提升城市功能品质方面的重要作用，也为其他项目提供了有益的借鉴。

The renovated complex comprises approximately 100,000 m2of office space and 20,000 m2 of supporting commercial space. Through measures such as optimizing the building structure, upgrading the façade and MEP systems, the project has achieved the international Class-A office standard and obtained certifications of LEED Gold and China Green Building Two-Star. This project has not only enhanced the urban quality of the Beijing South Station area but also become a new landmark of "station-city integration" in the Fengtai District, driving regional economic development. The successful transformation and award-winning of the project highlight the significant role of urban renewal in promoting regional economic transformation and upgrading, as well as improving urban functional quality. It also provides valuable references for other projects.
