How do we make architecture more inclusive and accessible?

12月2日，MVRDV 创始合伙人 Nathalie de Vries 女士与 MVRDV 合伙人、亚洲组总监史文倩女士将共同出席新加坡城市土地学会 (ULI) 简餐会，分享亚洲规划和建筑项目的实践历程、挑战和启发；探讨设计如何满足不同群体和使用者的需求，如何应对变化，以及如何为新世代的女性建筑师赋能。

On 2 December at the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Singapore, founding partner Nathalie de Vries and partner Wenchian Shi will join moderator Ong Ker-Shing for a "Brown Bag Chat". During a conversation in which Nathalie and Wenchian will share their journeys, challenges, and the inspiration behind their commitment to inclusivity in design, they will also explain how design can better reflect the diverse needs of communities and users, as well as how to navigate challenges and empower the next generation of female architects.

MVRDV 的 "DV"，创始合伙人 Nathalie de Vries 女士 ，1993年与 Winy Maas 和 Jacob van Rijs 共同创立了MVRDV 建筑规划事务所。带领 MVRDV 完成了诸多成功的项目，Nathalie de Vries 目前担任荷兰皇家建筑师学会主席、代尔夫特理工大学建筑设计学教授、格罗宁根博物馆监事会委员。同时在致力于发展建筑、设计、电子文化的研究机构“新学会”、荷兰建筑基金会、荷兰建筑研究院等机构任职。

As the “DV” of MVRDV, founding partner Nathalie de Vries has led many successful MVRDV projects with a focus on the invention of new building typologies and the creation of changeable, open systems. De Vries combines her work for MVRDV with a position as professor of Architectural Design and Public Building at the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft. The central theme in her research, design, and construction of public buildings and public space is “Multiplicity in Design”.

史文倩女士，建筑师、城市规划师、MVRDV 合伙人、亚洲组总监，2004年加入MVRDV，负责事务所在亚洲地区的项目和发展，管理的项目类型涵盖各种尺度的城市规划与建筑设计，包括住宅、办公、零售、文化设施与综合体项目的开发；她在 MVRDV 领导的项目包括上海西岸 GATE M 梦中心改造、深圳妇儿大厦、天津滨海图书馆、首尔空中花园——“首尔路7017”、韩国仁川“拓印”艺术娱乐综合体等，以及即将落地的两个重要项目：武汉图书馆新馆和腾讯前海总部公寓建筑群。在加入 MVRDV 之前，史文倩女士曾在 OMA 工作，参与了北京中央电视台总部大楼等著名项目的设计工作。

Partner, Architect and Urban Planner, Wenchian Shi is the driving force behind MVRDV’s Asia Studio. Shi joined MVRDV in 2004, overseeing the office’s broad body of work in Asia. She has worked at all scales of architecture and urban planning including mixed-use, offices, retal, and cultrual insitution, and projects she has lead at MVRDV include West Bund GATE M Dream Center in Shanghai, Shenzhen Women and Children's Center, Tianjin Binhai Library, Seoullo 7017 Skygarden, The Imprint in Inchon, and two important projects under construction - Wuhan New Library and the residential complex of Tencent Campus in Shenzhen. Prior to joining MVRDV in 2004 and expanding the office’s portfolio in Asia, Wenchian worked at OMA, contributing to the design of the highly acclaimed CCTV Headquarters in Beijing.
