In recent years, Frankfurt will build a number of new bus terminal for the city in order to encourage citizens to travel green. s+s is participating and designing the construction project as a consultant for the Frankfurt Urban Development Association. The total area of the project is about 1000sqm, 14 new bus stops are expected to be completed this year, the first 10 bus stations have completed the new station roofs in early June.

该项目作为法兰克福城市绿色建筑的示范工程，s+s在设计时最大限度的使用绿色可持续建材，同时通过伞状屋顶的设计为乘客提供更舒适的候车环境。绿色公交站的设计共 由22个伞状结构组成，主体为木结构，并由钢筋和混凝土支撑。木结构棚顶与支撑它的22个柱子共同构成了一个多面体结构，在夜晚灯光下的伞状多面体将成为法兰克福新的 风景。

As a demonstration projects for green buildings in the city of Frankfurt, s+s designed the project to maximize the use of green and sustainable building materials, while providing a more comfortable waiting environment for passengers through the umbrella roof design. The design consists of 22 elements on as many supports, which together form a multi-facetted structure made up of surfaces and edges. At night, lighting accentuates this geometrically complex structure.
