捷报再传！MVRDV武汉图书馆新馆建筑方案晋级竞赛前三名-建筑档案

MVRDV联合浙江大学建筑设计研究院有限公司，顺利晋级武汉图书馆新馆建筑方案国际竞赛，从6名通过资格预审+概念提案的入围团队中脱颖而出，成为建筑方案设计阶段的前三名。

此次评选中评审委员会听取了六家入围团队的汇报，并对设计成果进行了详细审阅，采用记名投票的方式，经过三轮投票，评选出三个优胜方案。后续经主办单位及上级部门综合评定后，将确定一家设计团队作为中选机构，继续进行方案深化设计。

The review committee reviewed the design results in detail after the reporting made by the six shortlisted design institutions, and voted openly. Upon three rounds of voting, three winning designs were selected. Later, the one and only winner will be finally selected to continue the detailed design after the comprehensive evaluation by the sponsor and the superior departments.

武汉图书馆新馆选址位于武汉王家墩中央商务区核心地段，常青路与云彩路交汇处。规划用地面积约4.33公顷（约65亩），总建筑面积约为13.64万平方米，其中图书馆建筑规模10万平方米，方志馆建筑规模1万平方米，配建地下室2.64万平方米。项目计划投资约18亿元。

The New Wuhan Library is located at the center of Wuhan Wangjiadun Central Business District, at the intersection of Changqing Road and Yuncai Road. The planned land area is about 4.33 hectares (about 65 mu), and the total floor area is about 136,400 square meters, including 100,000 square meters of library, 10,000 square meters of Fangzhi Hall, and 26,400 square meters of allotted basement. The planned investment of the project is about 1.8 billion yuan.

本次评审委员会涵盖中国工程院院士、全国工程勘察设计大师、国家图书馆管理专家、建筑理论研究专家、建筑结构设计专家、项目运营专家，由陈力、褚冬竹、崔恺、李保峰、罗赤宇、万静雅、张伶伶（按姓氏音序排列）7位专家组成。

The review committee is composed of academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, National Engineering Survey and Design Master, as well as experts in the fields of national library management, architectural theory research, architectural structure design, and project operation, including the following seven experts: Li Chen, Dongzhu CHU, Kai CUI , Baofeng LI, Chiyu Luo, Jingya WAN, and Lingling ZHANG.

MVRDV was set up in 1993 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands by Winy Maas, Jacob van Rijs and Nathalie de Vries. MVRDV engages globally in providing solutions to contemporary architectural and urban issues. A research-based and highly collaborative design method engages experts from all fields, clients and stakeholders in the creative process. The results are exemplary and outspoken buildings, urban plans, studies and objects, which enable our cities and landscapes to develop towards a better future.

Early projects by the office, such as the headquarters for the Dutch Public Broadcaster VPRO and WoZoCo housing for the elderly in Amsterdam lead to international acclaim. 250 architects, designers and other staff develop projects in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative design process which involves rigorous technical and creative investigation. MVRDV works with BIM and has official in-house BREEAM and LEED assessors. Together with Delft University of Technology, MVRDV runs The Why Factory, an independent think tank and research institute providing an agenda for architecture and urbanism by envisioning the city of the future.
