IDD将面向世界各国在设计领域具有领先建树、实践和思索的业界翘楚或机构，并联动中外领先设计机构、组织和媒体共同推举，每年甄选“IDD年度设计巨匠”，全年通过登门访谈、演讲论坛等形式对话“IDD年度设计巨匠”，探寻巨匠的思索，策划形成访谈视频、专题、出版刊物等内容，分别在HKDC香港设计中心的BODW+/viuTV进行全球播放，并在中外设计领先传播平台和渠道进行宣发和展示，希冀汇集世界领先设计思索，启迪中国乃至世界设计产业的更新发展。

Zaha Hadid Architects was founded in 1979 and has been at the forefront of architecture, art, and design for four decades. The practice is known internationally for dynamic and innovative projects, which build on Dame Zaha Hadid’s revolutionary exploration and research in the interrelated fields of urbanism, architecture and design. Over 40 years of practice, Zaha Hadid Architects has created a unique aesthetic that is at once un-classifiable and yet instantly recognisable for its clarity of vision.

Today, ZHA is a global company of 400 highly qualified architects and designers speaking 44 languages with offices in London, Beijing, Hong Kong, New York, Dubai and Mexico City, forming the face of cities and working on the cutting edge of design and construction in more than 50 countries around the globe. Works of the office form part of the permanent collections of Museums such as the MoMa in New York and the German Museum for Architecture in Frankfurt. Zaha Hadid Architects 中国区总监
Satoshi Ohashi（大桥谕）出生于日本，在美国长大，先后在纽约、伦敦、巴黎、东京等地工作与生活。大桥谕先生早在1978年便加入扎哈·哈迪德建筑事务所并与之保持紧密合作，迄今已逾44年。他现任事务所中国区总监，管理北京办公室的工作。他所从事的设计领域范围广泛，无论是大规模城市设计还是小型家具与产品设计，都始终致力于不断探索并实践建筑与设计的无限可能性。
Satoshi has brought to ZHA extensive global experience to ZHA, having worked across New York, London, Paris and Tokyo. He is currently the director responsible for ZHA operations in China, and based in Beijing, overseeing the Beijing office.
大桥谕先生曾在全球多所大学授课并担任客座讲师。2004年担任耶鲁大学建筑研究生院客座访问评论员；2005年在日本爱知世博会上演讲并参与此界展览，也担任过中央美术学院评审委员会委员与访问评论员。
He has also taught and lectured at many universities around the world, and in 2004 he held a position as a visiting critic at Yale University Graduate School of Architecture. He addressed the 2005 World Expo in Aichi, Japan and participated in the exhibition. He was also a selection committee juror and visiting critic at China Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China.

如何理解“领导力”？
What is leadership to you ?
我认为做建筑师总是需要一种激情和要去创造的原动力。对我而言，乐观的态度让很多事情变成了可能。当然，这其中还有很多长期辛苦的劳动付出。此外，你还需要很多有才华的人，他们能走到一起，把天赋和创意融入到项目中，能够配合协作，并共同产出了不起的成果。这种群体协作的愿望与努力，不断将涌出的新技术融入到项目中去，我认为这种精神是我们的事务所始终保持领先的秘诀。我们一直都试图持续不断地挑战自己，提高自己。
I think you always need this passion and spirit of wanting to be creative. The optimism for me, I think the optimism that it's always possible. Of course, it's a lot of hard work. Also you need a lot of talented people who come together and bring something to the table, can collaborate and contribute and work together. The continuing of the experimentation or this collaborative effort of wanting to and always testing and integrating new potential technologies, that spirit and having that become part of that whole creative process, I think this really keeps the office always ahead. We're trying to continue to challenge ourselves.

如何在创始人去世后仍可以令事务所稳定发展？
How do u continue and keep the firm growing after the founder's passing?
我认为我们事务所的精神，即扎哈和帕特里克以及所有的总监，或者说事务所的核心 DNA 真的没有改变。在中国，建筑师需要亲身体验，有强烈的参与精神，并且充分了解这里的文化和这个国家，我认为这就是我们正在实践的。我们有这样的愿景，也一直保持乐观开放的精神，认为任何事情都是可能的，所以我认为这在整个事务所延续的过程中不断地起着重要作用。
I think the spirit of the office of course, Zaha and Patrik and all the directors or the core DNA of the office really hasn't changed. And in China you really have to be here, you really have to really want to be here as well as understand the whole culture as well as the place and I think this is what we set out to do. I think we had that vision. We also always have that optimism or spirit that anything is possible, so I think this continues in this whole evolution of the office.

With so many traditional architectural values and methods versus the most innovative technologies and visions for the future. What are the issues that are closest to your heart？
我们的整个世界一直在变化和演变，你必须灵活地不断应对所有这些状况。作为建筑师或环境或空间的创造者，我们必须了解所有这些社会需求，当然还有政治的、经济的和技术的，它们每天都影响着我们。有这种意识并且通过设计建筑这种行为，我们也在对这些需求和条件做出回复和应答。我们既拥有现实世界，现在又有很多虚拟世界或者说是延展的世界，这些应该有助于我们更好地联接彼此。
I think our whole world is is always changing and evolving. You have to be continually flexible and be able to respond to all these conditions. As architects or creators of our environment or spaces, we have to understand all these social needs and, of course, political, economic, and technology that all affect us every day, That awareness and that also, through designing architecture, how we can respond to these needs and conditions. We have the physical real world and now we have a lot of virtual worlds or extensions. That should help us connect better.

可否分享一下你记忆中贵司的(可持续性)设计的成长历程?
Can you share with us the evolution of the firm's (sustainability) design in your memory?
我们的设计是应对项目所有的条件的产物。实际上从最早期作品开始，我们的设计更多的都是关于自然景观的。当我们在创作时，我们从土地、风景或城市的”运动“中获得灵感，从而激发了流动性极强的线条。城市或城市里运动的轨迹也是一种所谓的抽象运动，或者说能量流，我想这些都是通过绘图的方式来表现（和在项目中实现的）。在我们这些像书法作品一样的图纸中，我认为这让我们能够理解我们是在哪些参数范围内工作，而且随着技术的发展，这些参数也日渐发展和完备。
Our work has always been about responding to all the conditions and actually the early work from the beginning was all about the landscape if you look at the paintings. When we were drawing paintings we were getting inspiration from the land or the movement of the landscape or the city so that inspired our seamless fluidity and the lines of the city or the so-called abstract movement, or energy flow. I think these were ways that would be through painting, so this calligraphy of the drawings that we did I think allowed us to understand those parameters that we were working within and that evolved as technology evolved.
更确切地说，这些设计工具变成了参数化工具且更加精确了，所以我们的事务所也已经随之改变了。虽然这样说，但我们的每个项目的设计其实都是定制的，我们需要响应不仅是这个地方的特点，也要响应项目本身的条件和要求等方面。当然这其中绿色可持续性永远的是考量的一部分。
These tools as I said became parametric or they became more precise and I think that's what the office so has changed. Having said that, every project is customized so that we respond not only to that place, but to the conditions and requirements. Also, green sustainability has always been part of it.

您会给年轻设计师什么样的建议？
What kind of advice would you give to younger designers?
我认为重要的是你必须相信这一切都是可能的。你必须相信，只要你付出努力，你就能实现以前从未做过的事情。35年前，当我们还在画小项目的草图时，没有人会想象到我们如今的状态。但我们一直相信这一切都是可能的，如果我们持续投入地工作并相信它会发生，它迟早就会发生。这是一点，另一点我认为年轻设计师必须做出努力。这并不容易。你还必须不断地学习。如果你能找到你喜爱做的事情，比如你喜欢在电脑上素描、绘图或编写程序，如果你能做到，那就把它做成你擅长的事情。
I think it's important you have to believe it's all possible. You have to believe that it's if you give the effort you can achieve things that have never been done before. I think when we started over 35 years ago, or more from the small sketches till now, I think no one imagined where we would be. I think we just believe that's all possible and that way if we're committed and believe it, it's going to happen. So I think that's one thing and I think it's really about you do have to make that effort. I think it's not easy. And you have to also consistently learn. And if you can find something you love to do, if it's going to be sketching or drawing or writing programs on the computer, if you can do that, just be good at it.
